Citation Machine - Cite your sources with ease - Ali B

A great online tool that I like to use is http://www.citationmachine.net/. It’s exactly what it says in the name. It helps all people cite sources correctly. The best part about though, is that it’s a plug in web site. All one has to do is click on a which type of source they are using, Internet, periodical, newspaper, online journal article, encyclopedia, etc and choose from MLA or APA style format and begin plugging in author’s name, title, date published, so forth and so on, and click enter. The site will set up the source and cite it properly. I love it; I used it in my master’s program and introduced it to my students as they worked on their tri-fair projects. I went as far as to share it with my school and most all teachers were overjoyed and thankful. The kids enjoy it to, as who really remembers how to cite sources properly, and the average student doesn’t keep their trusty citation guides handy.

As the Internet and its uses become more and more wide and students expand their use of the Internet and technology, this is one easy site to keep in their favorites, which allow them and all of to give the proper credit for all sources and make the once daunting task, quite simple!!
