Interative Metronome

IM is a computerized system that is used to help children and adults with different disabilities. Some of these include: ADHD, Neurological disorders, TBI, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Parkinson's Disease among many others.
According to the website http://www.interactivemetronome.com/ the "IM is a neuromotor assessment & treatment tool used in therapy to improve the neurological processes of motor planning and sequencing". This program will help with attention, avoiding distractions, and helping to maintain indurance among many others.
This would be a great program to have as a speech language pathologists because it would help the clients attend better and could be used to lighten the sessions a little. For educational purposes it could be used as a center to help all students. This could be very beneficial to many people. This could also be used by occupational therapy as stated in the below link.
Advantages - Is that all students could become more attentive, less distractable and could learn better.
Disadvantages - The cost to have it at home or to go have the therapy done could be quite costly. This would be something that would have to be sponsored or donated to have it just on one computer.
Take a look at the webpage mentioned above and you will see that it could be very beneficial. I have seen a demonstrated video before and truly believe that it could be a very usedful tool.
Here is a link to watch a demonstration of the video. Enjoy!
