This program helps special needs students to build reading and language skills and help them to be successful in the general classroom. The focus of fast forward is listening accuracy, phonological awareness,and language structure. The program emphasizes links between spoken and written language. As a future speech language pathologist I will utilize this software to build the language skills of many clients. Not all students with languages problems will have such success with this program because it is not geared toward all language disorders.
