What is this tool?

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators is an excellent site for teachers. It is an alphabetized listing of educational web sites that helps teachers enhance the curriculum they teach as well as their professional growth. It has the best updated information on teaching and learning. Kathy is the Director of Technology for the Nauset Public Schools in Cape Cod, MA. Part of her job deals with infusing technology throughout the curriculum in all areas and grade levels. Kathy's, Schrock's Guide for Educators, was created to help teachers easily access the vast amount of information and resources on the Internet. She partnered with Discovery School and continues to update resources on her site daily.

How can this tool be used?

This tool is user friendly and can be used by anyone who has access to a computer with Internet connection. After going to the home page, it's a matter of clicking on a site which can literally take you to countless of other sites.

My opinion of this tool?

I'm elated to have found this site. I have spent countless hours on the Internet looking for ideas, lesson plans, and strategies. Often times out of frustration, I have come up with nothing. This site is reliable and credible. It has been evaluated by 26 different criteria, has a home page, can be linked to numerous other sites, and you can even e-mail the author.
