What is the tool?
This is an awesome tool to use in the classroom. It is great for getting the students involved as an entire class. The way this tool works is fist you need to go into PowerPoint and make a quiz. Once you have made your quiz and you have done the linking to the correct answers then you can put the quiz up in the Promethean Board. When you put the quiz up, you will be able to see the questions and the answers. The answers are linked to the right/wrong pages. Once the child answers the question provided they will use the Promethean pen to click on the answer of their choice. If they are right the powerpoint slide will take them to a page that says Great Job! If they got the answer wrong it will take them to a page that says Opps try again, and it will take them back to the question.
How can it be used?
This canbe used in the classroom. This is a great tool to use in the classroom to get all the students involved in answering the question. It can also be used by individuals during center time. When I was student teaching last semester my second grade teacher used this a lot to get the students engaged in the activity.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of this tool?
Advantages-This tool is great to use in the classroom for students to learn more about the subject area that you are teaching and also it will get active in their work because it fun to do.
Disadvantages-One disadvantage that I can I think of is that you can not always count on technolgy working the day that you want to use it. I know when i was teaching my lesson I wanted to use the quiz on the Promethean Board, but it just so happen to be the day that the technology that I needed was not working. So I think it is important to have a back up plan when using technology in the classroom because it may not always work the day you would like it to.

What is your opinion of the usefulness of this tool?
I think that this tool is a great tool to use in the classroom. Like I said earlier it gets the students involved in something other that worksheets and book work. This is something fun that the students can do and learn at the same time. I would recommmened this tool to any teacher. It is easy to create and enjoyable to use in the classroom.
