What is the tool?
The technology tool I decided to discuss was eThemes. eThemes is a database collection of resources related to a specific theme. The resources are age-appropriate and content-rich. This tool is a wonderful resource for teachers. It will allow teachers to collaborate with other professionals in their selected field. There are more than one thousand themes available that cover a range of educational topics.


How can it be used?
This tool can be used to help educators find resources and information they may need which correlates with a specific theme. You can search themes by the grade level and the name. A educator can download the instructions and tips page then began to search the database. By using this tool, a teacher is able to increase their students’ knowledge by using resources beyond the classroom.


What are the advantages and disadvantages of this tool?
The advantages of eThemes include being able to find additional resources for teachers and students, and being able to share information with other educators throughout the world. The only disadvantage of eThemes is having or using the same themes with other teachers in your school.

The intended audience of this tool is educators. The audience can be educators or future educators.

What is my opinion of the usefulness of this tool?
I feel this tool is very useful. This tool will benefit teachers and students. Teacher will be able to find and use reliable resources pertaining to a specific theme when teaching that theme to their class. Students benefit from eThemes because they are introduced to new information, which will allow them to learn more about a specific topic.
