This year No Oscar for Rahman

Indian music maestro A.R. Rahman missed getting the Oscar in the 'Best Original Score' and 'Best original Song' categories. The Oscar for Best Original Score went to the duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for their soundtrack in Inception. The Oscar for Best original Song went to to Randy Newman for ' We Belong Together'. A.R. Rahman and British pop singer Florence Welch performed 'If I Rise'
