What is this tool?Well BrainPop is a great website that thousands of teachers use! The website has short videos that cover GPS for all grades and subjects. For example, I am a student teacher in a science class with both 4th and 5th graders. My teacher uses this website because the video clips help explain topics we are learning in a more simple from. The videos also have short quizzes after them to help review the new information the students have learned! I would recommend this site to all educators! GREAT! :)How can this tool be used?This tool can be used to extend lessons or to help review lessons you have taught in your classroom. The website has videos for all topics and grade levels. All of the videos have short quizzes after them to help students review what they have learned. There are also activities and games on this site too! Students will be begging you to play these videos once you begin showing them. What better way to improve learning than by technology!!!The advantages of this tool is to help improve students learning. By showing them a visual example of what they have learned will help them gain and understand the concept better! The site also has many worksheets and activities you can add into your lessons. The only disadvantage of this site is that when too many user may be logged into their accounts the videos may freeze. As a student teacher BrainPop has helped me learn how to integrate technology into my lessons. I also like how after every short video there is a quiz.
