The tool I choose was Pete's PowerPoint Station.
How can it be used?
One this website there is Pete's PowerPoint Station, Greta's Games, and Hannah's Help. This website can be used by teachers to teach a lesson on any subject matter or for students to learn about any subject matter. The PowerPoint is already made and ready for a teacher or student to save onto their computer. All the PowerPoint presentations are free and in PowerPoint format. There are also interactive games for students on Greta's Games. Hannah Help provides homework help, research and skills and search engines.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of this tool?
Advantages: This site is a great advantage for teachers to use because they can spend more time focusing on the subject matter rather than creating a powerpoint. Also students enjoy PowerPoint presentations versus reading out of a book or overhead projectors. Also with this website if you have a Promethean board you can create quizzes and the students can digitally take them after viewing the PowerPoint.
Disadvantages: Some PowerPoint presentations are long and cover too much information that does not follow standards.

What's my opinion.
My field placement teacher showed me this site and ever since then I have taken advantage of it. We use the presentations for all subjects to teach out students. The students really seem to enjoy the presentations and seem to learn something from each one.
