What's the tool? The tool I chose was Internet4Classrooms.

How can it be used? This website is an aid in helping educators use the internet effectively. There are several resources for educators on this site. Such as:

• Grade level help from Pre-K to 8th Grade:Standards based links and our grade level "Skillbuilders" to help students practice, either at home or in the classroom, what they have been taught.
• Links for Pre-K:Several large collections of links for PreK-12 teachers, students and parents.
  
• On-Line Practice Modules: Step-by-step technology tutorials for learning applications commonly used in K-12 classrooms.
• Assessment Assistance: Help your students prepare for annual assessments, standardized tests, and end of course exams.
• Daily Dose of the Web: Web sites which provide new content on a daily or weekly basis.
• On-Site Training for Teachers: Technology utilization and integration support sessions conducted by the founders of Inter4Classrooms.
  

What are the advantages and disadvantages of this tool?

• Advantages: This site is full of useful resources for educators. As listed above this site can be very beneficial in utilizing the internet for your classroom. Another great advantages is that it is a free service. Teachers now have a place they can turn to that has some on-site help.

• Disadvantages:If you are not careful with your searches you could end up all over the place. You can not to be specific or board when doing particular searches.

The Audience:The audience for this site is for educators.

My Opinion: I came across this website earlier in the semester and have used it for activities in my placement. So far it has been pretty useful and haven't had any problems with it yet. I am eager to utilize it more once I'm in my own classroom. I think the links are good and all of their topics are on the money with educators.
