This is a great website that allows students to go and learn about chemistry, geology, memory, spelling, math, history, geography, dinosaurs, outer space, and the human body. The students can look at historical quotes about different subjects. There are separate links from the subjects listed about that will take them to learn about just that subject. There are games from each category that test their knowledge on the subjects.
How can this tool be used?
Children can go on this website and look around. Play games and even use it as a study guide. If the students need to do a report on one of the topics listed about they could go to kids know it and search what they are looking for. Also a report could be done from this website. For example, if they were doing a report on the different types of dinosaurs then this would be a great site. If the students were having a test over the different types of rock; there is a test that will help them study.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of this tool?
The advantages of this tool is there are so many options for the students to look at in a science area. Another advantage is that it is easy to maneuver through. A disadvantage is some of the links that are connected to this tool are not working right now. If a student is depending on this tool for a homework of project assignment then they would be in trouble. Also it could not be for every grade because it could only be for a certain grade based on the standard.

Who is the audience for this tool?
The audience for this tool is definitely students. Also it could be for parents because parents could use it as a study guide for their child. If they know that the student is having a test over a certain subject on this tool then they could print out some question to ask or have them study from the tool. That always makes it more fun.

I think this is a very useful tool for students to use. I think it gives a lot of information that could help students with studying and any assignments they may have to complete.
