Docutek Eres is an information system that allows teachers and professors to post articles, documents and different course materials through online libraries. The technology is refered to as web-based course reserves. This is a new technology that has recently come out and is used in alot of colleges and other educational areas. Students login through their respective libraries and access the documents and articles by password. Teachers can break down the articles into different groups for different classes. There have been many different resource guides published about Docutek. These guides offer great insight on how to use the technology in the classroom and outside the classroom and how it is integrated within lesson plans. Audience

The audience for Docutek is currently higher education. West Georgia currently uses docutek in association with Ingram Library. Docutek is very user friendly and is easily accessible to the students that are assigned to use it. It is a reserve system that is reliable and flexible because students can access the course reserves at any time of the day. There have been a lot of articles written about docutek but the best review and article I have found about docutek is written by Prof. Lamont Flowers of the University of Florida. Prof. Flowers talks about both the advantages and dis-advantages of docutek as well as different features that are available while using course reserves. Conclusion

Docutek is a great tool when it is used correctly. It is pretty easy to use and the only thing the student needs to use this tool is a computer and Internet access as well as the password that is given by the instructor. The only negative thing about the docutek is that it is only available for higher learning. I hope that in the future they will make this tool available to teachers and students in all areas of education.
