Sabíamos que se gasta 750 dólares por corte de pelo, pero pocos imaginaban que el último tendría la repercusión mediática que tuvo y que impactaría con tanta fuerza en Internet y las redes sociales. Cuando Justin Bieber decidió hacer público que se había cortado el pelo para dar un cambio a su look ahí estaban las televisiones, ahí estuvo Google, ahí estuvieron sus seguidores enfadados en Twitter... y por supuesto, ahí estaba el 'cerebro' que hizo coincidir el paso por el peluquero con una nueva campaña de márketing de la máquina de hacer dinero que es Bieber.
Muchos medios y blogs se preguntaban a mediados de semana '¿a quién le importa el corte de pelo de Bieber?' de modo irónico, pues fue emitido por varias cadenas de televisión en horario de 'prime time', se anunció que todo el pelo cortado sería donado para realizar una subasta con fines benéficos, el cambio de look conllevó una pérdida de 80.000 seguidores en Twitter (donde fue Trending Topic mundial, es decir, el tema más comentado), Google ofreció actualizaciones en tiempo real sobre el corte en cuestión (el martes el corte de pelo de Bieber fue lo más buscado en Google), llevó incluso a medios generalistas en EE UU a crear encuestas para que sus lectores opinasen si les parecía tan relevante la noticia.

Bieber tuvo que salir al paso del enfado y alboroto que causó su decisión. Al poco de poner en su Twitter que se había cortado el pelo (se colgó la foto también), se añadió que el pelo sería donado para recaudar fondos, a través de una subasta, para PETA, la célebre organización en pro de los derechos de los animales, de la que el joven artista es colaborador.
Sin embargo, otros han visto en el corte algo más. Una curiosa campaña de publicidad muy bien orquestada.

La Biebermanía ya está en Perú y las fanáticas se organizan para celebrar a lo grande este martes. El día de la concentración, en las salas de Cineplanet Alcazar, las fanáticas además podrán ver 5 minutos en 3D del esperado film documental sobre la vida del intérprete de ‘Baby’, ‘Never Say Never’.
Según indicaron voceros de United Pictures International, dichas imágenes serán presentadas en calidad de exclusividad para toda América Latina, como celebración de los 17 años de Bieber.
Never Say Never se estrena en Perú el próximo 24 de marzo.

Justin Bieber a entrevistadora: ¡NO toques mi cabello!
El cantante canadiense, Justin Bieber, sorprendió con su comportamiento en el programa 'The Talk' donde fue entrevistado por Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen y Leah Remin.
La entrevista llevaba un curso normal, cuando a Robinson Peete se le ocurrió ponerle un gorro con el logo del programa en la cabeza. Justin Bieber automáticamente y en un tono desesperado dijo: '¡No, no, no. No toques mi cabello!'
El rostro de Robinson Peete mostró su incomodidad con el comportamiento del divo adolescente y no le quedó otra que dárselo en la mano, mientras que sus otras compañeras sólo sonreían por el incidente. Además ese día se ganó el título de estar 'fuera del control' ya que manejó un buggy por todo el set.
Esta no sería la primera vez que Bieber pierde los papeles, en mayo del año se le acusó de haber insultado muy groseramente a un miembro de producción de un programa australiano.

History of the Oscar Awards
Far from the eagerly anticipated and globally televised event it is today, the first Academy Awards ceremony took place out of the public eye during an Academy banquet at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Two hundred seventy people attended the May 16, 1929 dinner in the hotel’s Blossom Room; guest tickets cost $5. It was a long affair filled with speeches, but Academy President Douglas Fairbanks made quick work of handing out the statuettes.
There was little suspense when the awards were presented that night: the recipients had already been announced three months earlier. That all changed the following year, however, when the Academy decided to keep the results secret until the ceremony but gave a list in advance to newspapers for publication at 11 p.m. on the night of the Awards. This policy continued until 1940 when, much to the Academy’s consternation, the Los Angeles Times broke the embargo and published the names of the winners in its evening edition – which was readily available to guests arriving for the ceremony. That prompted the Academy in 1941 to adopt the sealed-envelope system still in use today.
Fifteen statuettes were awarded at the first ceremony for cinematic achievements in 1927 and 1928. The first Best Actor winner was acclaimed German tragedian Emil Jannings, who had to return to Europe before the ceremony. The Academy granted his request to receive the trophy early, making his statuette the very first Academy Award ever presented.
